Senior Vice President, Medical Affairs (Oncology)

Location: Remote - New York

Salary: $365,000–$475,000 per year for roles performed from New York; ranges may vary for California, Colorado, and Illinois.

What you will do

• Serve as a physician leader and speaker for the Medical Affairs department.
• Build clinical relationships and partnerships with health systems, investigators, academic institutions, cooperative groups, and nonprofit organizations.
• Oversee speaker programs and contribute medical input to commercial strategies, disease-state programs, and marketing materials.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams of data scientists and PhDs in external communications and customer interactions.
• Provide medical oversight during the medical-legal review process and translate customer and market insights for leadership.

Requirements

• MD degree with oncology clinical training; breast or gastrointestinal oncology experience is preferred.
• At least 10 years of clinical practice and experience.
• Experience leading medical professionals, physicians, communication specialists, and commercial experts.
• Knowledge of molecular diagnostics, precision oncology, health systems, clinical research, large datasets, real-world data, and medical communications.
• Experience with clinical research and study design.
• Strong communication, innovative partnership-building, and execution skills.
