Location: Remote-based role with primary locations in Los Angeles, California, and South San Francisco, California, United States. Travel of 50% or more may be required. No relocation benefits are available.
Salary: $200,200–$371,800 per year, plus potential discretionary annual bonus.

What you will do
- Drive external collaboration strategies and cultivate partnerships with the NCI, NCTN cooperative groups, medical societies, academic institutions, cancer centers, and health systems.
- Operationalize external research strategies supporting evidence generation, externally sponsored studies, and strategic alliances for in-line and pipeline compounds.
- Lead scientific congress engagement planning across onsite and digital channels, including insights capture and cross-functional compliance review.
- Manage non-registrational and potential registrational studies, NCI-CTEP strategy, CRADA execution, investigator-initiated studies, enrollment, and publication timelines.
- Forecast, negotiate, and manage multi-million-dollar budgets and vendor relationships.
- Lead internal cross-functional teams in identifying strategic clinical and translational priorities across the Oncology portfolio.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry, or related clinical experience in Oncology/Hematology.
- Advanced degree such as MD, PhD, PharmD, MPH, MS, or MBA.
- Clinical development and clinical trial experience, including direct experience in clinical research and US academic partnerships.
- Experience with cooperative groups, NCI CRADA, alliance management, project management, negotiation, and cross-functional leadership.
- Ability to evaluate complex scientific data, communicate with executive leadership, and influence without formal authority.
- Management experience or demonstrated strong leadership capability, including management of multi-million-dollar budgets and vendors.
