Manager of Development & Automation (AI)

Location: Remote within the United States; Austin, Texas

Salary: $20,000–$150,000 annually, depending on experience

What you will do

• Grow, mentor, and support the Development & Automation team as the function scales.
• Own the automation and systems integration roadmap across internal operations and client environments.
• Build and deploy workflow automations, system integrations, dashboards, and AI-enabled solutions.
• Identify manual processes and streamline service desk, ticketing, onboarding/offboarding, billing, and client lifecycle workflows.
• Define technical standards, tooling decisions, delivery priorities, and reusable automation patterns.
• Partner with leadership, department heads, engineers, vendors, and clients to deliver measurable improvements in time saved, efficiency, and service quality.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in automation, systems integration, DevOps, or technical operations.
• 1+ year leading or mentoring AI or automation initiatives.
• Experience in an MSP, SaaS, or other multi-client service environment.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, PowerShell, Power Platform, PSA/RMM tools, and APIs.
• Experience with reporting tools such as Power BI and working knowledge of data structures.
• Proven ability to apply AI to operational or client-facing use cases and deliver measurable business impact.
