Engineering Manager (AI)

Salary: $193,800–$285,000 USD per year, plus equity opportunities.

What you will do

• Lead the Discovery Experience team responsible for hirify.global’s Homepage across iOS, Android, and Web.
• Own the product and technical direction, roadmap, execution, quality, velocity, and consumer impact of the discovery surface.
• Build LLM-generated recommendations and intent-aware experiences across food, grocery, retail, and emerging verticals.
• Architect backend systems and APIs that assemble a fast, personalized Homepage.
• Partner with Product, Design, Data Science, and ML/Recommendation Platform teams.
• Coach engineers, support career growth, and scale an inclusive, high-performing organization.

Requirements

• B.S., M.S., Ph.D. in Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of industry experience, including at least 2 years of engineering management experience.
• Experience managing engineering disciplines across backend, Android, iOS, and Web.
• Strong product sense and experience partnering with non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience building scalable products and handling ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to guide and grow engineering teams through a rapidly changing business environment.
