HVAC Mechanical Engineer

Location: On-site in Monroe Township, New Jersey, USA; some travel to US sites.

Salary: $75,000–$100,000 USD per year, plus performance-based bonuses.

What you will do

• Design, evaluate, and plan HVAC and mechanical systems for healthcare, science and technology, education, commercial, industrial, and federal projects.
• Perform load and energy calculations using Trace 700, Carrier HAP, and similar software.
• Conduct building surveys and document existing HVAC systems with senior engineers.
• Develop system design calculations and select equipment for building projects.
• Prepare design documents, reports, studies, and project specifications.
• Coordinate with other disciplines, research code compliance, and provide construction administration services.

Requirements

• 1–5 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong knowledge of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, local building codes, standards, and design guidelines.
• Ability to work on-site in Monroe Township, New Jersey, USA and travel to US project sites.
