What you will do

• Design and engineer HVAC control systems for large commercial buildings and centralized mechanical systems.
• Develop, program, and configure Building Automation System solutions for project-specific requirements.
• Support multiple concurrent project lifecycles, schedules, engineering standards, and technical documentation.
• Perform system startup, checkout, calibration, point-to-point testing, and troubleshooting at customer jobsites.
• Collaborate with project managers, field technicians, engineering teams, and client stakeholders to resolve technical challenges.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree, technical diploma, or bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Instrumentation, or a related technical field; extensive hands-on industry experience may substitute.
• At least 3 years of professional experience specializing in HVAC controls and building automation.
• Commercial HVAC design and engineering experience involving large buildings and centralized systems.
• Hands-on experience with HVAC-focused Building Automation Systems.
• Ability to work in both office engineering environments and active customer jobsites.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and time-management skills.

Nice to have

• Experience as a Senior HVAC Controls Technician transitioning into a full-time engineering role.
• Experience managing complex site deployments in strict, customer-driven operational environments.
