Mechanical - Mid/Experienced Engineer (HVAC)

Location: Onsite or remote from listed United States locations, including Nashville, Los Angeles, St. Louis, Bentonville, Manhattan, New York City, Washington D.C., Lenexa, Kansas City, Houston, Philadelphia, Denver, Las Vegas, Dallas, and Phoenix. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Salary: $83,600–$145,200 in Denver; $92,400–$119,700 in Las Vegas; $88,160–$153,120 in Los Angeles and Washington, D.C.; $92,720–$161,040 in New York.

What you will do

• Design basic to advanced HVAC and mechanical engineering systems with substantial independence.
• Prepare mechanical layouts, detailed drawings, schematics, and engineering calculations.
• Review shop drawings for compliance with plans and specifications.
• Research equipment and evaluate the feasibility and application of mechanical systems.
• Coordinate project scope, schedules, client meetings, quality, questions, and delivery.
• Support business development relationships and train or assist other employees.

Requirements

• For Mid Level II: a relevant engineering degree with 3 years of experience, or 5 years without a degree.
• For Experienced Level III: a relevant engineering degree with 7 years of experience, or 9 years without a degree.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Bluebeam Revu.
• Proficiency in CAD and HVAC design software, including AutoCAD, Revit, IESVE, or Trane Trace.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States is required; employment eligibility will be verified.

Nice to have

• Professional Engineering license.
• FE exam completion, LEED, or WELL accreditation.
• Advanced knowledge of engineering design, A&E practices, codes, design guides, and standards.
