AFSAC - FMS Case Closure Business Analyst (Remote)

Location: Remote within the United States; Dayton, OH

What you will do

• Provide financial and technical consulting for a Department of Defense financial management system.
• Support reconciliation and closure of Foreign Military Sales cases in compliance with applicable regulations.
• Analyze, structure, and review financial data, forecasts, accounting data, and case progress.
• Reconcile data across financial systems, resolve discrepancies, and support timely case closures.
• Provide subject matter expertise and on-site training to government customers.
• Prepare reports, conduct data quality assessments, and improve data integration workflows.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship is required.
• At least seven years of experience with Foreign Military Sales, government acquisition, finance, financial management, reconciliation, or program management within a DoD/DoW organization.
• Advanced knowledge of FMS reconciliation and case closure processes, governing regulations, and related systems.
• Proficiency with government financial and accounting systems and relational databases.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in business management, engineering, computer science, mathematics, economics, or a related discipline; equivalent technical, work, or military experience may be considered.

Nice to have

• Experience with the Comprehensive Cost and Requirement System (CCaR).
• CCaR certification.
