Manufacturing Engineer I - Jasksonville (Medical Devices)

Location: Onsite in Jacksonville, Florida, United States

Salary: $69,600–$104,400 per year, plus eligibility for the hirify.global Incentive Plan.

What you will do

• Design manufacturing processes, procedures, production layouts, and material-handling arrangements.
• Define operating sequences and fabrication procedures for tools and equipment.
• Adapt machine and equipment designs to factory and production conditions.
• Incorporate inspection and testing requirements into production plans.
• Inspect machinery, equipment, and tools, investigate deficiencies, and initiate corrective actions.
• Represent Operations on cross-functional projects involving process improvements, regulatory requirements, and gross-margin initiatives.

Requirements

• Baccalaureate degree required.
• Unrestricted U.S. work authorization is required at the time of hire and throughout employment.
• For degrees earned outside the United States, the degree must satisfy the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A).
• Ability to work onsite at least four days per week in Jacksonville, Florida.
• Detail-oriented, analytical, organized, self-driven, and an effective communicator.

• Medical device experience.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of SAP.
• Experience with digital drafting and modeling tools.
• Knowledge of process and tooling development.
