Software Engineer (Hardware Test Automation)

What you will do

• Build software for test orchestration, data capture, and analysis for new hardware.
• Ship lab tooling including benchmark automation, configuration management, and results databases.
• Manage hardware-shaped data, ensuring telemetry and logs are comparable and queryable.
• Automate the path from lab to fleet by packaging golden configs and validation suites.
• Collaborate directly with engineers to iterate on tools and workflows.

Requirements

• Must be based in Austin, TX; New York, NY; San Francisco, CA; or Seattle, WA.
• Experience building test automation or lab software for hardware programs.
• Proven ability to turn manual engineering workflows into automated pipelines.
• Proficiency in Python or Go and experience with AI tooling.
• Experience handling high-volume hardware telemetry, logs, and measurements.
• Must have authorization to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience with hardware test harnesses.
• Knowledge of Grafana and time-series databases.
• Familiarity with BMC and Redfish APIs.
• Experience with CI for hardware.
