Test Development Engineer (AI Hardware)

Location: Headquarters/Sunnyvale Office, on-site

Salary: $170,000–$210,000 annually, plus potential bonus and equity.

What you will do

• Develop manufacturing test automation software and scripts for products ranging from PCBA to system level.
• Design and implement GUI solutions for test automation and web interfaces for modifying settings in a MySQL database hosted on AWS.
• Build a test data reporting portal with contract manufacturing sites to support traceability, analysis, and yield improvement.
• Sustain test software and infrastructure, investigate manufacturing test issues, and resolve software and hardware defects.
• Set up infrastructure at manufacturing sites for test equipment and server operations.
• Work with diagnostics, system design, manufacturing, quality, and contract manufacturing teams to bring up test automation suites for new products.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in test automation, test development, or a related area.
• Proficiency in C/C++, Visual Studio, and Python.
• Knowledge of JavaScript, MySQL, SQL, and SQL Server Reporting Services.
• Knowledge of Pexpect, SSH, Telnet, RS-232, Bash, Windows, Linux, Ubuntu, CentOS, VNC Viewer, and console servers.
• Strong debugging skills, including the ability to troubleshoot complex software stacks; experience with GUI, web, and API development.
