Staff Product Designer (Fintech Risk)

Salary: $188,500–$255,000 base pay annually

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end design for customer-facing Risk initiatives from discovery through launch.
• Own the strategy for a unified customer engagement and communications framework.
• Design hirify.globalive, transparent, and trustworthy experiences for AI-powered features.
• Design risk journeys for owners, accountants, and mid-market customers, including early-tenure, communications, and case-resolution flows.
• Use customer research and product data to define success criteria and guide design decisions.
• Partner with product management, engineering, data, and research to align decisions, scale patterns, and strengthen design practices while mentoring other designers.

Requirements

• 8+ years of product design experience with a portfolio demonstrating end-to-end ownership and shipped impact.
• Strong interaction design, prototyping, high-fidelity UI, and design rationale skills.
• Experience integrating AI tools into the design workflow to improve quality, speed, or exploration.
• Ability to work cross-functionally, drive alignment through ambiguity, and make decisions across customer, business, and compliance considerations.
• Comfort using research and product data to inform design strategy and measurement.
• Strong communication skills with cross-functional partners and executive stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Fintech, banking, or risk domain experience.
• Experience with policy explainability, compliance-heavy design, or customer communication frameworks.
• Familiarity with mature design systems.
