Staff Product Designer, Presence

Location: United States; remote work for U.S.-based employees

Salary: $194,600–$272,400 USD annually, plus eligibility for equity through restricted stock units.

What you will do

• Define UX strategy and experience architecture across multiple product initiatives.
• Shape foundational experiences for identity, profiles, community representation, professional experiences, and discovery.
• Translate ambiguous opportunities and complex problems into product direction, reusable UX patterns, and scalable frameworks.
• Create functional prototypes with AI-assisted design and coding tools to explore concepts and accelerate decisions.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Research, Content Design, and senior leadership to align teams around long-term product goals.
• Champion interaction design, information architecture, accessibility, design systems, and systems thinking while mentoring designers.

Requirements

• 8–10+ years of product design experience, including complex cross-functional initiatives in consumer technology.
• Expertise in systems thinking and platform-level, foundational, or highly reusable product experiences.
• Strong interaction design, information architecture, product strategy, storytelling, facilitation, and communication skills.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity, balance long-term vision with near-term execution, and influence senior stakeholders without direct authority.
• Experience using AI-assisted design or coding tools for prototyping and product concept exploration.
• Portfolio demonstrating Staff-level design thinking, strong craft, systems-level problem solving, measurable impact, and mentoring experience.
