Senior Product Designer (Fintech)

Location: Remote in the United States or Canada

Salary: $130,000–$150,000 USD per year, depending on experience, plus bonus

What you will do

• Design end-to-end experiences, including journey maps, user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
• Lead greenfield design and redesign initiatives across Payment Gateway products and technical B2B workflows.
• Plan and conduct internal usability testing and external research with partners and merchants.
• Build and maintain scalable design systems across multiple products.
• Benchmark products against competitors and identify opportunities to improve payment experiences.
• Use AI tools such as v0, Cursor, Figma AI, ChatGPT, and Midjourney for prototyping, research synthesis, and design exploration.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience designing B2B digital products and systems, supported by a strong portfolio.
• Experience with financial products, APIs, transaction systems, payment gateways, or similar B2B SaaS platforms.
• Ability to simplify complex technical and payment concepts into intuitive user experiences.
• Proficiency in Figma, design systems, user research, and usability testing.
• Working knowledge of WCAG accessibility standards, including their use in regulated payment workflows.
• Hands-on experience using AI tools for design, prototyping, or research is required.

Nice to have

• Experience designing merchant-, ISV-, or partner-facing onboarding, transaction monitoring, and payment flows.
• Understanding of API-driven workflows and technical constraints for developer and merchant audiences.
• Experience unifying multiple products under a cohesive design system.
• Familiarity with service design techniques such as journey mapping and service blueprints.
