Software Engineer (AI Infrastructure)

Location: Must be based in Austin, TX; New York, NY; San Francisco, CA; or Seattle, WA (On-site)

Salary: $224,000 – $279,000

What you will do

• Build software services, APIs, and pipelines to make design data programmable.
• Ship generative tooling for layouts, routings, and configurations.
• Integrate CAD, BIM, and PLM platforms with the company's data layer.
• Manage model data at scale, including versioning, validation, and queryability.
• Work embedded with engineers to solve complex infrastructure challenges.

Requirements

• Experience building software against CAD or BIM platforms or engineering data.
• Proven track record of shipping automation that replaced manual design work.
• Competence in handling geometric and graph-shaped data.
• Ability to write production code and integrate complex vendor APIs.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience with Revit, Tekla, or Forge APIs.
• Familiarity with IFC toolchains and computational geometry.
• Proficiency in Rust, C#, TypeScript, or Python.
