What you will do

• Build, grow, and lead a team of software engineers, engineering managers, and technical leads responsible for custom internal applications.
• Own hiring, professional growth, performance management, and the technical quality bar.
• Define engineering standards, technology direction, architecture choices, development practices, testing standards, repository management, and technical debt strategy.
• Own shared platform services, such as enterprise authentication, treating them as internal products consumed by other engineering teams.
• Ensure solutions are fit for purpose, production-ready, and aligned with business needs across Order-to-Cash and Lead-to-Contract value streams.
• Partner with product, architecture, security, compliance, and cross-functional delivery pods as a senior technical advisor.

Requirements

• 12+ years of software engineering experience, including several years in leadership and preferably experience leading through other managers.
• Production software engineering experience with the ability to reason about code, systems, and design; this is not a hands-on coding role.
• Experience defining and executing systems-level architectural and technology vision.
• Working knowledge of order management, billing, revenue, or related commercial and financial systems.
• Experience owning internally facing platforms or shared services used by other engineering teams.
• Experience leading in a matrixed, pod-based model and working in healthcare, financial services, or another highly regulated field.

Nice to have

• Experience with revenue-enabling or lead-to-cash systems.
• Experience operating shared platform capabilities such as authentication or identity as internal products.
