Director of Engineering (Identity Security)

Location: U.S. Remote

Salary: $175,000–$210,000 base salary, plus equity and bonus opportunities

What you will do

• Lead engineering teams responsible for governance solutions on the hirify.global Platform and Fastpath Assure.
• Oversee development and implementation strategies for key capabilities, aligning them with business objectives.
• Provide technical oversight to ensure solution quality, scalability, and security.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks and challenges.
• Lead hiring, performance evaluations, mentoring, and team development.
• Collaborate with engineering leaders and Product Managers to define technical scope and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• 5+ years of experience managing and running Agile Sprint teams.
• Strong technical, communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work effectively with engineers, stakeholders, and senior management.

Nice to have

• Experience with Identity Governance and Administration, application access governance, or segregation of duties for ERP and business applications.
• Experience leading and managing engineering teams.
• Knowledge of security best practices, industry trends, emerging technologies, and the solution’s core technologies.
• Ability to contribute as a software engineer in addition to people management responsibilities.
