What you will do
- Define the architecture and make key technology decisions for a greenfield platform.
- Lead platform development from concept through delivery while staying close to engineering, architecture, and code.
- Establish engineering standards, patterns, and guardrails that are adopted across teams.
- Drive scalability, security, resilience, performance, observability, documentation, support models, and operational handover.
- Provide technical direction, challenge designs, and solve complex technical problems.
- Coordinate external engineering partners, work across business units and markets, and shape wider engineering strategy.
Requirements
- Significant experience leading software engineering in complex, enterprise-scale environments.
- Exceptional software engineering depth with the ability to work deeply with architecture and code.
- Strong architectural judgment and confidence challenging technical decisions.
- Experience building and scaling platforms in high-complexity environments.
- Experience managing external engineering partners, systems integrators, or vendors and holding them accountable for delivery.
