Senior Product Manager (Fintech)

Location: Remote in the US or onsite in San Mateo, California, with occasional travel for team offsites and key meetings

What you will do

• Define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for a core product area in partnership with leadership.
• Own product development from problem definition and prioritization through launch, iteration, and scale.
• Use analytics, user research, and industry trends to identify high-impact features, optimizations, and experiments.
• Write product specifications defining objectives, solution elements, decision rationale, and success metrics.
• Collaborate with design, engineering, data science, legal, compliance, operations, marketing, and finance.
• Monitor product metrics, communicate tradeoffs, and use AI tools to improve customer experiences and business outcomes.

Requirements

• 8+ years of product management experience, preferably in consumer fintech or consumer mobile products.
• Experience building, launching, and scaling consumer products with measurable business impact.
• Strong analytical skills and experience with BigQuery, Looker, Mixpanel, or similar tools.
• Hands-on experience using AI tools to improve work speed or quality.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, customer empathy, ownership, and comfort with ambiguity.
• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Nice to have

• Background in software engineering, design, analytics, or technical product management.
• Experience with regulated environments, banking, payments, lending, growth, risk, or fraud products.
• Experience at an early-stage or growth-stage startup.
