Director, Experience (Product Management) (Fintech)

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end product delivery and transformation initiatives across banking and financial services.
• Define and communicate product requirements, roadmaps, priorities, and delivery plans for complex programs.
• Guide retail and commercial banking modernization, including core banking, digital banking, cloud-native architectures, open banking APIs, and legacy platform migration.
• Shape payment solutions involving ACH, wire transfers, card networks, real-time payments, FedNow, Interac, ISO 20022, and cross-border ecosystems.
• Use generative AI and large language models to improve PRD creation, user stories, data analysis, process mapping, documentation, and delivery workflows.
• Partner with business, compliance, legal, consulting, product, and engineering stakeholders while supporting sales and pre-sales activities.

Requirements

• 5–8+ years of experience in management consulting, fintech, Tier-1/Tier-2 banking, or comparable financial services environments.
• Experience leading large-scale banking transformation, migration, modernization, or greenfield technology initiatives.
• Deep knowledge of core banking, digital banking, wealth management, financial services technology, and payments infrastructure.
• Understanding of regulated financial services, including risk management, security, compliance, and US or Canadian regulatory frameworks.
• Experience with product and project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Linear, or Miro, plus practical use of AI tools including ChatGPT, Claude, or Microsoft Copilot.
• Strong communication, storytelling, presentation, stakeholder management, sales, pre-sales, and business-to-technology translation skills.

Nice to have

• Legacy payment gateway experience.
• Experience with regulatory frameworks associated with the OCC, Federal Reserve, FinCEN, OSFI, or FCAC.
