Base pay: $172,000–$216,000 per year

What you will do

• Own verification of the integrated hybrid powertrain, including batteries, motors, turboshafts, turbogenerators, and complex mechanical systems.
• Verify turbogenerator performance on test benches and in the aircraft, including the start of the flight-test campaign.
• Contribute expert testing and operational input to turbogenerator design reviews.
• Coordinate suppliers, engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver verification activities safely and on schedule.
• Ensure third-party stakeholders meet delivery commitments and verification requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree in a related scientific or engineering field.
• 10+ years of experience in complex system verification.
• Strong systems-engineering fundamentals and experience with industry-standard tools and operational practices for turbine and/or electrical systems.
• Systematic problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical rationale to multidisciplinary stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently, lead technical initiatives, operate under tight deadlines, and produce comprehensive technical reports and documentation.

Nice to have

• Experience with hybrid-electric aircraft, eVTOLs, or hybrid automotive powertrains.
• Experience with turboshafts, turbines, and turbogenerators.
• Familiarity with FAA or EASA certification.
• Knowledge of simulation model validation, model calibration, and uncertainty quantification.
