Tier 2 Enterprise Operations Engineer, Journeyman (Active Top Secret Clearance Required)

What you will do

• Provide Tier 2 triage, troubleshooting, and resolution for VMware vSphere and vCenter virtual infrastructure.
• Fulfill service requests, including virtual machine builds, decommissions, and resource changes.
• Maintain, install, and configure servers, switches, routers, firewalls, storage systems, and cabling in a data center.
• Monitor IT infrastructure and configure monitoring tools for comprehensive system awareness.
• Use ServiceNow and other IT service management tools for incident, service request, and problem management.
• Collaborate with other teams to resolve complex issues and improve operational processes while maintaining security and policy compliance.

Requirements

• Active DoD Top Secret Clearance required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5–8 years of experience with VMware vSphere and/or vCenter.
• Experience working in enterprise-level environments.
• Experience with enterprise storage solutions.
• Availability to work Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM–6:00 PM.
