System Administrator (Cybersecurity)

Location: Beavercreek, Ohio, United States; daily on-site support required. Normal business hours apply, with occasional non-business-hours support.

What you will do

• Install, configure, maintain, and enhance servers, desktops, network devices, and classified system architecture.
• Administer Windows and Linux systems, including patch management, flaw remediation, and cybersecurity policy compliance.
• Implement and integrate hardware, software, network equipment, and offline air-gapped patch infrastructure.
• Manage backups, recovery services, file systems, disk space, user accounts, and access controls.
• Configure and secure WAN/LAN infrastructure, including Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and Type 1 encryption devices.
• Create and maintain system configuration documentation while troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.

Requirements

• At least seven years of experience as a System Administrator supporting classified networks and applying STIG-based installation, configuration, maintenance, patching, and remediation practices.
• Experience administering SAP and SCI information systems and interfacing with DoD or Air Force enterprise networks.
• Experience managing multiple networks in dynamic, demanding, air-gapped environments.
• Working knowledge of WAN/LAN concepts, Cisco networking equipment, switches, firewalls, and TACLANE or comparable Type 1 encryption devices.
• Valid Top Secret clearance with an in-scope background investigation date required.
• DoD Directive 8570/8140 IAT Level II certification required, such as Security+ CE, CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, CND, or SSCP.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of RMF, DAAPM/DAAG, JSIG, and related Windows and Linux security controls.
• Experience with GitLab, Jenkins, self-hosted project management applications, and RSA MFA solutions.
• Experience integrating Linux systems with Windows Active Directory.
• Experience with Splunk or ELK, Tenable Nessus, NetApp or Synology storage, Wireshark, Snort, PRTG, SCAP, OpenSCAP, and SCC tools.
• Experience with Samba, NFS, Veeam, and VMware vSphere virtualization.
