Software Engineer (ServiceNow)

Location: Hybrid role based within a 180-mile radius of the Tempe, Arizona, or Bloomington, Illinois hubs, with regular office work.

Salary: $85,500–$125,000 per year, plus potential yearly incentive pay of up to 15% of base salary.

What you will do

• Design, develop, configure, and maintain ServiceNow applications, workflows, business rules, and user experiences.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions that improve operational efficiency and reliability.
• Develop and maintain REST APIs, enterprise integrations, and workflow automations.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, release readiness, and post-release support.
• Troubleshoot platform and integration issues, identify root causes, and implement durable fixes.
• Collaborate with architects, security, product, and engineering teams on scalable ServiceNow solutions and reusable engineering standards.

Requirements

• Must be eligible to lawfully work in the United States immediately; visa sponsorship is not available.
• Must reside within a 180-mile radius of the Tempe, Arizona, or Bloomington, Illinois hubs for the hybrid work arrangement.
• Experience developing on ServiceNow or similar enterprise platforms.
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs, with familiarity with JavaScript, web technologies, and workflow automation.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues, identify root causes, and communicate clearly with technical and business partners.
• Customer-focused approach with dependable delivery and operational support skills.

Nice to have

• ServiceNow CSA, CAD, or Certified Implementation Specialist certifications.
• Experience with ITSM, ITAM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, IRM, SPM, or custom applications.
• Experience with Agile delivery, CI/CD pipelines, enterprise architecture patterns, or cloud concepts.
• Experience in large enterprise environments or leading engineering efforts.
