ServiceNow Developer (SNOW SME TC2) (Government)

Location: Columbia, Maryland, United States; office presence required at least 5 days per week. No relocation is offered.

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, and deploy custom applications and enhancements on the ServiceNow platform.
• Support IT Asset Management, Configuration Management Database, and IT Service Management applications and processes.
• Gather and translate requirements with business stakeholders, customers, managers, vendors, and technical teams.
• Provide technical support, consultation, troubleshooting, and performance issue resolution.
• Create technical documentation and user-facing support materials.
• Participate in User Acceptance Testing, Technical Exchange Meetings, platform upgrades, and Agile development activities.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of ServiceNow development experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Security+ certification and ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification.
• Clearable status with the ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI with polygraph.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, CMDB concepts, and asset lifecycle management.
• Experience with ServiceNow Catalog Pages, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Pages, UI Actions, Glide API, Flow Designer, and ACLs.
• Knowledge of SQL and relational database concepts.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and version control processes.
