Executive Strategic Operations Analyst - Technology

Location: Hybrid schedule with in-person collaboration at the Buffalo, NY Tech Hub; Buffalo, New York, United States of America

Salary: $74,600.00–$124,400.00 annual USD

What you will do

• Support planning and implementation of short- and long-term technology initiatives, strategic programs, and cross-functional projects.
• Develop project roadmaps, plans, workflow reports, project status updates, and trend analyses.
• Analyze and interpret divisional and bank-wide data using pivot tables, charts, structured reporting, and other spreadsheet tools.
• Synthesize qualitative and quantitative information into concise summaries and actionable insights for senior leadership.
• Coordinate meetings, agendas, and discussions across internal program teams, senior leaders, and partner groups.
• Identify risk-related issues, support regulatory and internal control requirements, and implement audit or regulator action points.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of relevant work experience, or a qualifying combination of higher education and work experience with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, manage multiple assignments, and meet time constraints.
• High proficiency with spreadsheet, database, graphing, presentation, and other personal computer software.
• Ability to work in a hybrid schedule with in-person collaboration at the Buffalo, NY Tech Hub.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Accounting, Engineering, or Business Administration.
• At least 4 years of relevant work experience and banking or financial industry experience.
• Six Sigma, Lean, process improvement, or project management education.
• Experience with SQL, programming, statistical software, financial or regulatory analysis, process analysis, or technical writing.
• Curiosity and innovation.
