Google Cloud Engineer, Senior (GCP)

Location: Remote, with required occasional in-person work at a Booz Allen or customer facility; role locations are Alexandria, Virginia, USA, and Chicago, Illinois, USA.

Salary: $86,800–$198,000 annualized USD

What you will do

• Develop and automate secure Google Cloud capabilities for government environments.
• Design and deploy GCP solutions across multiple environments.
• Automate provisioning of GCP resources using Terraform and other automation tools.
• Work with services including Compute Engine, Cloud Run, GKE, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, and Cloud SQL.
• Apply networking concepts covering DNS, load balancing, VPCs, private connectivity, and TLS.
• Collaborate on code management and DevSecOps practices using Git or GitLab.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience implementing infrastructure as code with Terraform.
• 2+ years of experience designing, developing, and deploying GCP solutions.
• Experience building software for secure government cloud environments.
• Experience with GCP resource provisioning, automation, containerization, and networking.
• Secret clearance required.
• High school diploma or GED with 8+ years of software engineering experience, or a bachelor's degree with 4+ years of experience; ability to obtain DoD 8570 or 8140 IAT Level II certification within 30 days of hire.

• Experience building, securing, and optimizing GCP workloads.
