Residential Energy Auditor

Location: Hybrid, with work from home, in the office, and in the field; candidates must reside in the Denver Metro Area and travel frequently throughout the territory. Options for trips to the Western Slope. Company vehicle provided.

Salary: $20.70–$31.00 per hour

What you will do

• Conduct residential energy audits, re-audits, and pre- and post-installation verifications.
• Install energy-efficient equipment and perform technical data-gathering activities.
• Record inspection results, customer and contractor interactions, and program updates.
• Represent the program and company on site with residential customers and contractors.
• Provide technical guidance and training for installation, configuration, adaptation, and enhancement activities.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and recommend solutions while supporting energy-efficiency retrofit and new-construction efforts.

Requirements

• 0–1 year of relevant industry experience.
• High school diploma or GED required; an associate's degree is preferred.
• At least 21 years of age and a valid driver's license.
• Ability to travel throughout a defined territory, including possible day and overnight trips.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship or immigration support.
• Must pass pre-employment drug testing and a motor vehicle report check and maintain a clean driving record.

• BPI Certification.
• Ability to meet applicable DOT qualification requirements.
