Senior Engineer - R01568930 (Epic Healthcare Technology)

Location: Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico; hybrid workplace. Must be comfortable working U.S. business hours.

What you will do

• Perform routine maintenance, validation, and support tasks for Epic healthcare applications under supervision.
• Execute tests, update tickets, document evidence, and troubleshoot basic application issues.
• Support scheduled upgrades, onboarding activities, and security or access requests in provider and payer workflows.
• Assist with department build support and payer-platform activities, including claims, enrollment, or care management workflows.
• Maintain Jira tickets, knowledge articles, test evidence, and support records.
• Apply coaching from experienced professionals during structured onboarding.

Requirements

• 0–2 years of relevant experience, including exposure to application support or healthcare technology.
• Basic proficiency with Jira or similar ticketing and documentation tools.
• Familiarity with healthcare application support or enterprise technology environments.
• Understanding of software testing and validation processes.
• Exposure to Epic terminology, workflows, or healthcare IT concepts.
• Ability to work U.S. business hours and work in a hybrid setup in Guadalajara, Mexico.

Nice to have

• Experience with Epic modules such as Ambulatory, Healthy Planet, MyChart, Cadence, or Prelude.
• Knowledge of healthcare security, privacy, or compliance requirements.
• Basic SQL or data-querying knowledge.
• Software testing or systems analysis experience in healthcare settings.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field; healthcare orientation or Epic terminology education.
