Strategic Finance Lead (Medtech)

Location: New York City only; in-person work 3–4 days per week at the Gramercy office, with some remote flexibility.

What you will do

• Partner with teams across the organization on strategic projects involving investment decisions, cost optimization, unit economics, and growth.
• Lead planning efforts, help business partners set goals, and define execution paths.
• Analyze ambiguous and messy data to identify trends and insights for critical business decisions.
• Support high-priority work including board meetings, capital raises, and M&A.
• Develop first-principles approaches to unfamiliar problems and communicate recommendations clearly to leadership and cross-functional partners.
• Identify operating gaps and lead end-to-end efforts to close them.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, growth equity, or venture capital.
• Strong financial modeling skills and advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience working in fast-paced, high-stakes environments while balancing detail with broader business context.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and first-principles thinking skills.
• High ownership, resilience, coachability, attention to detail, and willingness to receive challenging feedback.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States is required.
