Senior Software Engineer, Python + AI Platform (AI)

What you will do

• Build and evolve Python and FastAPI services powering agentic AI workflows and platform capabilities.
• Productionize LLM integrations, including Bedrock usage, quotas, retries, failover, cost controls, model configuration, and approval constraints.
• Design secure, compliant, multi-tenant systems with tenant isolation, RBAC, SSO integration, auditability, observability, and secure customer-data processing.
• Scale enterprise workloads through asynchronous job orchestration, performance tuning, PostgreSQL and data-layer optimization, and batch/stream processing.
• Implement monitoring, tracing, alerting, operational tooling, real-time event delivery, pub/sub patterns, and agent feedback loops.
• Own typed, schema-driven API contracts and contribute to platform architecture, testing, CI, and technical decisions across product, legal, architecture, and security stakeholders.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional software development experience, including 5+ years building production Python services.
• Strong experience with APIs, asynchronous processing, background jobs, workflow orchestration, distributed systems, reliability, observability, retries, and performance tuning.
• AWS experience with cloud-native compute, storage, networking, CI/CD, identity, secrets, and encryption services.
• Strong PostgreSQL and data-intensive system design experience, including indexing, query tuning, large-scale processing, RAG, vector search, and embedding-based systems.
• Hands-on experience building LLM-driven workflows with tool calling, state machines, human-in-the-loop approvals, checkpoint/resume, and multi-step agent orchestration.
• Experience with multi-tenant systems, RBAC, audit logging, regulated environments, prompt engineering, evaluation design, and LLM cost optimization.

Nice to have

• Experience with Bedrock, OpenAI, Anthropic, LangChain, LangGraph, prompt workflows, evaluations, and tool-calling systems.
• SSO, SAML, OIDC, enterprise authentication, graph-backed data models, entity resolution, or connected-record reasoning.
• OpenTelemetry, tracing, metrics, alerting, cost and usage dashboards, Terraform, feature flags, canary deployments, or release strategies.
• Experience in regulated communications, compliance, sensitive communications, or legally reviewable audit-trail systems.
