AI Engineer (Public Sector)

Location: Must be based in the United States (AWS GovCloud and security clearance requirements).

What you will do

• Design and implement production-grade RAG pipelines and agentic workflows using Python.
• Architect systems to handle complex, real-world data including PDFs, images, and full-motion video.
• Prototype and evaluate cutting-edge models (LLMs, embedding models, object detection) for government deliverables.
• Partner with the team to document architectures and contribute to technical reports for high-impact contracts.
• Deploy and optimize solutions within secure, air-gapped, or AWS GovCloud environments.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States and eligible for or hold a Secret/TS security clearance.
• Proven experience deploying production RAG pipelines against real-world, messy datasets.
• Deep expertise in Agentic system design and multi-agent orchestration.
• Strong Python engineering skills with a focus on clean, scalable, and maintainable code.
• Experience operating within AWS/GovCloud environments.
• Knowledge of government security standards and working in on-prem/classified environments.

Nice to have

• Existing Secret or Top Secret security clearance.
• Experience fine-tuning NLP or object detection models.
• Familiarity with LLM evaluation frameworks like RAGAS or Arize Phoenix.
