Senior Data Center Network Engineer (VXLAN/EVPN)

What you will do

• Design and evolve large-scale data center architectures based on Spine-Leaf, VXLAN/EVPN, BGP, OSPF, and DCI.
• Develop perimeter security solutions using next-generation firewalls, segmentation, micro-segmentation, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and load balancing.
• Automate the provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management of network equipment.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for network changes with automated validation, pre-deployment testing, and rollback mechanisms.
• Develop observability and telemetry capabilities for monitoring and capacity planning.
• Resolve complex incidents, conduct root cause analysis, produce technical documentation, and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• Strong experience with Spine-Leaf architecture, VXLAN/EVPN, BGP, OSPF, vPC/MLAG, Layer 2 protection, STP, QoS, multicast, and DCI.
• Experience with multi-tenant data center environments and perimeter security solutions.
• Knowledge of NGFW platforms such as Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco, or Check Point.
• Experience with NAT, IPsec/SSL VPNs, segmentation, micro-segmentation, DMZ, Zero Trust, IDS/IPS, WAF, and DDoS mitigation.
• Experience with F5 or equivalent load balancers.

Nice to have

• At least 8 years of network engineering experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in large-scale data center environments.
• At least 3 years of experience with production network automation projects.
