Senior NAS Storage and Backup Systems Administrator (Enterprise Storage): Managing and optimizing NAS, SAN, backup, and disaster recovery infrastructure for enterprise clients with an accent on high availability, performance, and resilient storage operations. Focus on troubleshooting complex storage protocols, automating administration with scripting, and coordinating infrastructure reliability across backup, network, security, and Active Directory teams.
Location: Lisbon, Portugal with a hybrid work model. Only candidates with an existing legal right to work in the European Union will be considered.

What you will do
- Monitor and manage NAS and SMB storage systems to maintain performance and uptime.
- Support NetApp, Dell PowerScale/Isilon, and Hitachi storage environments.
- Provision SAN systems and develop backup and disaster recovery strategies.
- Automate storage operations with Bash, Python, Ansible, and KSH scripts.
- Troubleshoot NFS, iSCSI, NVMe, SMB, DFS, and Windows share issues.
- Collaborate with backup, network, security, and Active Directory teams while maintaining documentation and training users.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in enterprise storage administration or SAN management.
- Strong expertise in NetApp, Hitachi, Dell PowerScale/Isilon, NAS, and SMB storage.
- Hands-on experience with NFS, SMB, DFS, and Windows Active Directory.
- Advanced knowledge of NFS, iSCSI, and NVMe protocols.
- Scripting experience with Bash, Python, and Ansible, plus strong troubleshooting skills.
- Communicative English at B2–C1 level and an existing legal right to work in the EU.
Nice to have
- Experience with IBM GPFS and IBM Power Systems running AIX/Linux on Power.
- Knowledge of VMware and virtualized server environments.
- Familiarity with ITIL incident and change management processes.
