Senior Application Support Engineer (C#/.NET)

Location: Lisbon, Portugal; hybrid work with up to 2 days remote per week. Candidates must already have the legal right to work in the European Union.

What you will do

• Provide application support for critical production systems, maintaining availability and performance.
• Analyze logs, troubleshoot incidents, and track issues across distributed systems.
• Perform maintenance, updates, and incident resolution using ITIL Incident, Problem, and Change Management practices.
• Collaborate with development teams on application architecture and support requirements.
• Use Jenkins and GitLab for CI/CD, deployment, and automation activities.
• Monitor system health and automate routine support tasks using PowerShell, Shell, or Python.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in application support, operations, or a similar role.
• Experience with application support, RUN, and MCO in critical environments.
• Proficiency in .NET/C#, MS SQL Server, web applications, APIs, relational databases, and monitoring tools.
• Knowledge of Jenkins, GitLab, CI/CD, and ITIL processes.
• Experience with Windows, Unix, or Linux environments and basic scripting.
• Good spoken and written English; existing legal right to work in the EU is required.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Dynamics 365.
• Experience with PowerShell, Shell scripting, or Python.
• Certifications or additional expertise in IT service management or automation.
