Detailer (Engineering)

What you will do

• Produce detailed models and drawings for structures, skids, and assemblies.
• Detail steel and MEP to fabrication level, including connections, penetrations, and BOM-linked parts.
• Turn around engineering changes into updated packages rapidly.
• Maintain clean models, standards, libraries, and templates to improve efficiency.

Requirements

• Experience detailing for fabrication, specifically structural steel, skids, or modular assemblies.
• Ability to produce drawings that shops can build from without clarification.
• Proficiency in modeling to standards and maintaining library discipline.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes including welds, bends, and required clearances.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience with Tekla or Advance Steel.
• Experience with Revit or Plant 3D.
• Knowledge of weld symbols and AISC detailing.
• BIM coordination experience.
