Securities Operations Analyst (Finance)

What you will do

• Process securities trades and associated cash movements with counterparties and client service teams.
• Research and resolve client inquiries, operational issues, exceptions, and discrepancies in internal books and records.
• Partner with Treasury Operations on cash settlement, client funding issues, and the impact of large transfers on funding projections.
• Monitor transaction activity, processing deadlines, and control requirements.
• Identify process inefficiencies and implement improvements that reduce operational risk, manual effort, and repetitive work.
• Manage smaller projects and initiatives while collaborating with clients and internal stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Strong analytical, investigative, problem-solving, communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a strong risk and controls mindset.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and processing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to identify inefficiencies, drive process improvements, manage small projects, and influence stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, lookup functions, and data analysis.
• Experience with VBA, Excel macros, or Outlook macros.
