Operations Analyst (Fintech)

Location: Wakefield, Massachusetts, United States (Hybrid)

Salary: $70,000–$85,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Support managed account business operations across multiple outsourced service clients.
• Process and document new account openings, account maintenance, terminations, funding activities, and required document archiving.
• Perform account-level reconciliations covering cash balances, positions, transactions, and tax lots.
• Identify and resolve reconciliation breaks and operational exceptions so accounts are ready for daily trading.
• Support client onboarding, platform enhancements, workflow redesign, new product implementations, and operational improvements.
• Assist with system testing and collaborate with internal operations, technology teams, and sponsor partners.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in managed accounts, investment operations, or a similar financial services role.
• Strong knowledge of financial operations, including trade processing, reconciliation, account maintenance, and data integrity.
• Familiarity with Separately Managed Accounts, including workflows, account structures, and operational requirements.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and functions; VBA is a plus.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize competing tasks, exercise sound judgment, and collaborate cross-functionally.
• BA/BS degree required.
