Financial Operations Analyst

Brown & Brown is hiring a financial operations specialist to support financial reporting, data quality, governance, and operational decision-making.

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end data validation lifecycle, develop audit methodologies, evaluate estimated versus actual transfer values, and resolve discrepancies.
• Design reporting templates and controls to improve month-end revenue recognition related to transfers.
• Monitor organization-wide data integrity standards, escalate risks, and recommend remediation.
• Assess data flows across AMS, ImageRight, and Microsoft Dynamics platforms and improve the capture of critical fields.
• Lead cross-functional process improvement initiatives, define success metrics, and implement procedural changes.
• Develop executive dashboards, reporting frameworks, and KPIs covering retention, attrition, production, and quote-to-bind performance.

Requirements

• Four-year college degree from an accredited university.
• Experience in advanced data analysis, data governance, or business intelligence.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong proficiency with analytics and visualization tools such as Power BI.
• Proficiency with one or more of Vertafore AMS360, ImageRight, Microsoft Dynamics, and Power BI.
• Ability to conduct complex analyses, identify root causes, and develop data-driven recommendations with minimal supervision.
• Strong prioritization, communication, discretion, and confidentiality skills.
