What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of product engineers through feedback, hiring, and technical guidance.
• Drive product initiatives from ideation through launch while balancing delivery speed, reliability, and quality.
• Partner with product managers, designers, customers, and internal stakeholders to translate user needs into technical roadmaps and solutions.
• Guide system design, architecture decisions, and engineering tradeoffs for scalable platform capabilities.
• Help teams decompose complex problems into incremental milestones that deliver customer value.
• Build a culture of ownership, accountability, continuous improvement, and strong developer experience.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience as an engineer shipping products or features with downstream business and ecosystem impact.
• 2+ years of experience managing people and developing engineers, including hiring, mentorship, and performance management.
• Strong background in system design, architecture, and technical tradeoffs.
• Experience translating business goals and user needs into engineering roadmaps and shipped features.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across engineering, product, and design.
• Applicants must be based in the United States; new visa sponsorship is generally unavailable, with existing visa transfers subject to business authorization.

Nice to have

• Experience building developer platforms, cloud infrastructure, or DevTools.
• Background with highly scalable distributed systems or infrastructure platforms.
• Experience improving engineering velocity through tooling, processes, and team practices.
• Experience building products for developers or other technical users.
• Successful collaboration with product, marketing, and customer support teams to drive adoption and retention.
