SBA Product Business Development Officer Senior (SBA Lending)

Location: Louisiana; remote workplace

What you will do

• Market a full range of banking services to SBA loan-eligible businesses.
• Self-source SBA loan opportunities and manage client contact through origination.
• Review financial statements and supporting documentation.
• Structure SBA loan proposals, complete initial analysis, and prepare credit packages.
• Handle typical SBA loan amounts of $350K–$5MM while following applicable requirements.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws, agency guidelines, and bank policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of SBA, business, or commercial lending experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including professional grammar and demeanor.
• Excellent customer service, interpersonal, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Attention to detail and proficiency with PCs and the internet.

Nice to have

• Business or Finance degree.
• SBA loan origination experience.
• Familiarity with commercial loan underwriting systems.
