TL;DR
Senior Business Systems Specialist (Medical Devices): Defining, prioritizing, and delivering business system requirements and product roadmaps with an accent on stakeholder alignment, Agile development, and solution adoption. Focus on translating business needs into functional specifications, collaborating with architects and developers, and troubleshooting systems to drive continuous improvement.

Location: Round Lake, Illinois, United States; minimum 3 days per week onsite

Salary: $104,000–$143,000 annual base salary

What you will do

  • Partner with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to understand objectives, challenges, and operational needs.
  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, user stories, functional specifications, process flows, and system documentation.
  • Prioritize product backlogs and support roadmap development based on business value and strategic goals.
  • Collaborate with IT system product owners, architects, developers, and cross-functional teams to design, develop, implement, and support business solutions.
  • Support testing, quality assurance, change management, solution adoption, incident resolution, and root-cause analysis.
  • Communicate product vision, progress, and technical information to business and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • 5–7 years of experience in product management, business analysis, or a related field.
  • Strong business acumen, technical knowledge of business systems, and software lifecycle management experience.
  • Experience gathering and prioritizing requirements, developing product roadmaps, and working with Agile methodologies and release planning.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States; visa sponsorship or transfer is not available.
