Spring 2027 IS Intern (IT)

Location: DeRidder, Louisiana, United States; onsite at the DeRidder Paper Mill

Salary: $30.00/hour for seniors, $29.00/hour for juniors, and $27.00/hour for sophomores

What you will do

• Provide basic help desk and end-user support for hardware, software, printers, mobile devices, and network issues.
• Build, configure, deploy, and securely erase computers for reassignment.
• Document network infrastructure, including physical network taps, drawings, and related records.
• Document technical issues and resolutions and maintain IT equipment inventory.
• Clean workstations of malicious software, including viruses and spyware.
• Lift and transport IT equipment and perform other related duties as required.

Requirements

• Completion of at least the freshman year of college.
• Pursuing a four-year degree in Computer Science is preferred.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• College juniors and seniors are preferred.
• Ability to perform physical duties involving lifting and transporting equipment.
