Managed IT Consulting Intern

Location: United States, with offices in Colorado, Illinois, Ohio, and Massachusetts; principally in-person with flexibility determined by the supervisor and team. The role may require local, national, and occasional international travel.

Salary: $33.00–$36.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Provide technical support for external clients and help keep their business operations running without interruption.
• Identify and resolve issues involving PC and server hardware and software, mobile devices, AV equipment, network services, and other technologies.
• Receive, prioritize, document, and resolve end-user requests.
• Contribute to migrations, upgrades, security audits, and research and implementation of new technologies.
• Support clients in a rotational, on-call environment.

Requirements

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, analytical, and detail-oriented skills.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• May be required to work more than the standard 40-hour week and travel locally, nationally, and occasionally internationally.

Nice to have

• Information technology or engineering knowledge and experience.
• Experience with service desk remediation.
• Bilingual Japanese and English or Chinese and English for candidates who require sponsorship.
