Occupational Therapist (Healthcare)

Location: 855 Howe Avenue, Sacramento, California, United States; travel between work sites, community locations, and participant homes may be required.

Salary: $110,000–$120,000 annually, plus a target annual bonus of 5% and possible additional incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Provide occupational therapy evaluations and treatment across acute, restorative, and maintenance levels of care.
• Assess participants, create individualized treatment plans, and coordinate implementation with participants and caregivers.
• Participate in the Interdisciplinary Team by contributing clinical assessments, care recommendations, and coordination.
• Conduct home visits as needed and educate participants, families, and staff on ADLs, exercise programs, safety, and DME use.
• Maintain therapy documentation, participant records, statistics, and reports in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Support DME inventory management, quality audits, safety programs, infection control, and therapy program standardization.

Requirements

• Master’s or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy, or an equivalent degree from an accredited program meeting AOTA and ACOTE standards.
• National certification by the American Occupational Therapy Association or eligibility for its national registration examination.
• At least one year of experience working with frail or elderly populations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment, adapt to ambiguity, and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Strong learning and growth mindset, including openness to feedback, healthy debate, and data-informed decisions.
• Authorization to work in the United States is verified through E-Verify. Compliance with applicable vaccination, PPE, and infection-control requirements is required for participant-care settings.

Nice to have

• Two or more years of practicing occupational therapy.
• Spanish-English bilingual ability; additional languages are a plus.
• PACE or ADCH/CBAS experience.
• State-issued driver’s license, personal transportation, and legally required auto insurance.
