What you will do

• Support occupational therapists with client-related activities and delegated treatment procedures.
• Administer treatment programs according to physician-established plans of care.
• Teach activities of daily living and train clients in the use of prosthetic devices and adaptive equipment.
• Observe, document, and report client conditions, functional changes, test results, and responses to therapy.
• Maintain accurate service documentation and protect patient and agency confidentiality.
• Follow agency policies, including HIPAA requirements, and provide care under licensed occupational therapist supervision.

Requirements

• Current occupational therapy assistant license in Florida required.
• CPR, OSHA, HIV/AIDS, HIPAA, Alzheimer's, Medical Errors, and Domestic Violence certificates.
• At least one year of professional or personal experience supporting individuals with disabilities, mental illnesses, or challenging behaviors.
• Valid in-state driver's license, current vehicle registration and insurance, and no more than two driving-record points within the last three years.
• Personal vehicle liability insurance with minimum limits of 100,000/300,000/100,000 required.
• TB screening is required for this patient-facing role.
