Sr Full Stack Java Engineer (Java/Angular)

Salary: USD $149,000–$175,000 per year, plus bonus or incentive opportunities

What you will do

• Lead the technical design, development, and implementation of cross-functional, multi-platform applications.
• Build and maintain secure Java-based systems using Spring Boot, RESTful services, microservice patterns, Angular, and PCF.
• Use AI tools to improve code quality, automate testing, and support innovation throughout the development lifecycle.
• Coach an Agile Java team, conduct code reviews, and lead solutioning across a large engineering organization.
• Develop proof-of-concept projects, reusable development patterns, architecture documentation, and system designs.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines with Bamboo and GitHub Actions and promote security, resiliency, performance, and observability.

Requirements

• 8+ years of hands-on software development experience with Java, Spring Boot, RESTful services, and microservice patterns.
• 5+ years of actively writing and reviewing Java code, plus strong SQL and SQL Server schema design experience; familiarity with Oracle.
• 2+ years of hands-on Angular development experience.
• Experience delivering production systems in Agile teams and owning features from design through production support.
• Hands-on experience with automated unit, integration, API, and contract testing; CI/CD pipelines; artifact and version management; and branch strategies.
• Experience with resiliency, performance budgeting, observability, Scrum, and scaled Agile ceremonies.
