Procurement Manager (Pharmaceuticals Construction)

Location: Remote, Richmond, VA, US

Salary: $108,000–$145,000 per year, depending on experience, skills, and education.

What you will do

• Manage procurement and contract administration for architects, engineers, general contractors, and equipment vendors.
• Prequalify and shortlist suppliers through bid analysis and make award recommendations.
• Lead pricing negotiations using competitive benchmarking and trend analysis.
• Prepare, finalize, and administer contracts with close attention to detail.
• Coordinate the onboarding of onsite supplier teams and maintain effective relationships with site and vendor teams.
• Create progress reports and dashboards, manage global supply chain strategies, and support production planning and supplier capacity modelling.

Requirements

• Experience prequalifying vendors and managing tenders for large-scale construction projects, particularly pharmaceutical projects.
• Degree in procurement, supply chain management, or a related discipline.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and quality-focused approach.
• Ability to manage priorities and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Interviews are conducted in person or virtually with video required.
