Procurement Manager (Fintech)

Location: Remote in the United States or Canada

Salary: US $120K–$200K annually, plus equity

What you will do

• Build and own the procurement function as the first in-house buyer.
• Manage sourcing and purchasing across software and IT, marketing and events, travel, professional services, and employee onboarding.
• Own vendor relationships, negotiations, contracts, renewals, and the full vendor lifecycle.
• Drive savings by consolidating redundant tools, reclaiming unused licenses, and comparing market alternatives.
• Guide finance, IT, legal, and business stakeholders through purchasing decisions.
• Coordinate vendor security, data-privacy, and commercial risk reviews.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, vendor management, or commercial negotiations.
• Experience independently managing vendor negotiations, contracts, and renewals across multiple functions and spend categories.
• Experience evaluating vendors competitively and negotiating favorable pricing and terms.
• Ability to influence stakeholders, challenge decisions when necessary, and work cross-functionally.
• Experience building procurement processes, including intake and purchase-order workflows, contract tracking, renewal tracking, and spend visibility.
• Experience coordinating SOC 2, data-processing agreement, indemnification, liability, and insurance reviews with Legal and Security.
