Procurement Category Analyst (Procurement Analytics)

What you will do

• Analyze vendor spend, cost drivers, consolidation opportunities, tail spend, and procurement risks.
• Build and maintain dashboards and reports covering category performance, contract utilization, renewals, compliance, and vendor performance.
• Cleanse, interpret, and visualize procurement and contract data for stakeholders and leadership.
• Support category planning, sourcing events, RFP evaluations, vendor selection, negotiations, and cost modelling.
• Track contract milestones, supplier performance, obligations, forecasting, budgets, benchmarks, and total cost of ownership.
• Improve source-to-pay workflows, reporting automation, KPI frameworks, procedures, and data governance.

Requirements

• Experience in procurement, sourcing, category management, finance, data analytics, or contract operations.
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, XLOOKUP or INDEX/MATCH, data cleansing, transformation, and financial modelling.
• Strong data analysis capabilities, including trend and variance analysis, validation, and integrity controls.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, equivalent business intelligence tools, or advanced Excel reporting models.
• Working knowledge of procurement, contract management, ERP, vendor management, P2P, or S2P systems.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, commercial understanding, and recommendation-building skills.
